đŁ About The Sports HER
The Sports HER is the heartbeat of New England womenâs sports. Weâre here because womenâs sports deserve more â more coverage, more community, and more celebration. đ
Weâre not just reporting scores. Weâre telling the stories that matter, shining a bold, unapologetic spotlight on the athletes, the moments, and the grit that make womenâs sports unforgettable.
The Sports HER is built for The HERd â our growing community of fans, athletes, and supporters who believe womenâs sports should always be front and center.
Why I Started The Sports HER
Womenâs sports have always been personal to me. Iâve played my whole life â fifteen years of softball đ„ â and I grew up in a family where sports were everything. (Donât even get me started on who each of our favorite football teams are.)
My little sister plays basketball, my brother bounced between hockey đ, soccer âœ, and football đ, and my parents grew up surrounded by the game. Itâs part of who we are.

But even in a sports-obsessed place like New England, I noticed womenâs teams werenât getting the same coverage. Our sports culture is passionate and loud, but unless it was viral drama, womenâs sports rarely made the conversation. I wanted the same energy, the same excitement, the same front-page love that menâs teams get â but for the incredible women competing right here in New England.
Thatâs why I built The Sports HER â to give womenâs sports the platform, the respect, and the spotlight theyâve always deserved. âš Womenâs sports are rising, and this moment feels like history in the making. I want The Sports HER to be part of that.
When you read The Sports HER, I want you to feel like you know whatâs at stake. Like youâre part of the fan base. Like youâre ready to show up and cheer loudly because you know whatâs on the line.
If I could tell my younger self anything, itâs this: starting The Sports HER was worth it. Betting on womenâs sports is always worth it. We belong here, and this is just the beginning. đȘ
Letâs build this legacy together. đŁ
